Free Dump Station: Mission Bay Visitor’s Center

May 11, 2017: The only thing better than free, is being able to dump your s**t for free.

Mission Bay Visitor’s Center is the gateway for recreational activities at Mission Bay, San Diego. Many RVers camp there. Turns out, the public can access the dump station for free.

It’s just sitting out there, waiting for you.

At one point, the City of San Diego closed down the dump station. But recently, they reopened it, particularly at a time when so many unemployed San Diegans are now living in their RVs.

I found the curved driveway rather tight for my pickup truck and 28 foot toy hauler. The wheels on the trailer wants to rub against the curb. But then again, being that’s it free, I’m still tempted to use it. I just need better skills at towing a trailer.

There’s also trash cans there, so you can dump your garbage too.

I'm a "Man in Black", one of those guys who goes around dressed in black suits, looking for people who were abducted by UFOs so that we can keep them quiet. Sash and I travel around in this trailer awaiting orders from headquarters for my next assignment. I can't show you the details of my work, but I can show you how I live.
