Along Interstate 65, right where it intersects with State Highway 2, there is a place where you can camp for free.
It rests along a dead end road named, “Nebraska St.” right next to a Flying J Travel Center.

Nebraska St. is surrounded by trees and shrubs, giving you plenty of privacy even though it’s situated next to a gas station and fast food restaurants. And while there is some freeway noise from I-65, it’s really not that loud.
Moreover, you can easily walk to the McDonald’s for free Wi-Fi, and get online. If you wanted to, you could also walk to the Arby’s or the Subway.
I stayed overnight there in my trailer during the evening of Saturday, August 3, 2019. No one else parked there. Only one truck traveled up and down the road during the night. It was rather hot during the day, so you will want to run your air conditioning, and your generator for that matter.
If you plan to park your RV there, keep in mind there is no turnaround at the end of Nebraska St. You will have to instead back your trailer or motorhome in.
Police or security did not bother me at all. Local law enforcement is present here because of the fast food restaurants. However, they didn’t seem to care that I was parked overnight.
Verizon 4G comes in strong here, 4-5 bars.
