Free Wal-Mart RV Parking – Bakersfield, CA

Bakersfield, CA is host to few Wal-Marts. This one in particular is located at 2601 Fashion Plaza, right off of State Route 178 and Mt. Vernon Ave.

From what I’ve read from reviews, this Wal-Mart is the better one to stay overnight at. This particular store tolerates RVers overnighting, and doesn’t have the druggies and partiers head-banging all through the night. Meanwhile, the Wal-Mart along Rosedale ave, apparently is crowded with RVers, and very noisy all night long.

However, this particular Wal-Mart can be a little tricky to pull a long trailer into. The parking lot not as large as the Rosedale location.

Sash and I were able to sleep well here, however. Despite shoppers continuing to come into Wal-Mart all through the evening and early morning, it really wasn’t that loud. We saw about four or five other RVers here. You might to arrive here before sunset because all the spaces where RVs can fit will be taken up by then.

I'm a "Man in Black", one of those guys who goes around dressed in black suits, looking for people who were abducted by UFOs so that we can keep them quiet. Sash and I travel around in this trailer awaiting orders from headquarters for my next assignment. I can't show you the details of my work, but I can show you how I live.
